Protein Coffee
Proffee, or Protein Coffee, is exactly what it sounds like: a creamy, cold drink that blends your favorite high-protein shake with instant coffee. It’s fast, easy, and gives you that little boost when you don’t have time for a full breakfast or a snack but still want something filling and energizing. This is my go-to when I need to keep it simple but still want something good.

How to Make Proffee
- Grab a small blender. I usually use my personal-sized one, something easy to clean.
- Toss in the ice, pour in the protein drink, and sprinkle in the coffee granules. No need to dissolve them first, the blender will take care of that.
- Now blend it up until it’s smooth and frothy. I like mine somewhere between a cold brew and a milkshake. Icy but still drinkable through a straw. You can stop blending early for more texture, or keep it going for a thinner consistency.
- Pour it into your favorite glass and you’re good to go!
Ana’s Recipe Tips
- Flavor combos: I like vanilla protein with instant coffee the most, it tastes like those fancy bottled coffees from the store. Chocolate protein + regular instant coffee is a close second for a delicious Iced Mocha drink.
- No blender? Just shake it up with ice in a shaker bottle. It’ll be less smooth but still hits the spot.
- Want it stronger? Add more coffee or use brewed espresso that’s been chilled. Just don’t skip the ice or it’ll be too warm.

My Favorite High Protein drink
I really like the Lidl protein shakes because they pack in 35 grams of protein per 332ml bottle (about 12 ounces), which is impressive for a ready-to-drink option. The protein comes from milk, so it’s a complete, high-quality source. Not one of those cheap blends you sometimes find in similar drinks.
Another thing I appreciate is the low fat content. Each bottle has just 0.6g of fat, which keeps it light without sacrificing protein. The sugar might look a little high at first glance (about 17g), but it’s all naturally occurring from the milk — no added sugars. Overall, it’s a solid, convenient choice when I want something quick and protein-packed.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you like this recipe as much as I do! Please leave me a comment or question and I’ll get back to you asap. Stay strong! 🩷 xoxo, Ana
